Hi Missy,
I hope you’re well, and that your running is going smashingly as the year goes on! Coaching, too– I’m keeping my fingers crossed for Tommy Neal in the 10K this weekend.
I’m a fellow T1 runner, and I’m super interested in joining Team Type 1′s running team. I’ve spoken to a couple of people about it, primarily Phil Southerland and Marcus Grimm. Marcus told me that you’re in charge of filling out the team with more female runners, so I wanted to reach out and introduce myself! I’m currently about 10 days out from my 3rd marathon (the New Jersey Marathon), which I hope to run in 4:15 or less. Fingers crossed! I love the mission and message of empowerment of TT1, and I’d love to be a part of it in whatever form possible.
